My Story

10 years ago I put myself through the Brighton marathon. It was honestly the most gruelling, humbling, toughest physical test I've ever endured, all I could think about was the charity I was running for and everyone who donated, expecting me to deliver. After crossing that line, and having that medal placed round my neck, I made a promise to myself that I'd only ever run this far again if it was in London. Watching the London race as a child, I vividly remember thinking that I want to run that race one day and receive my finishers medal. Fast forward to the present, and I finally made it in with a charity space!

Battersea Dogs and Cats Home is a charity that I'm privileged to race for, being a dog owner myself, I fully understand how they become your best friend and family member. Knowing that there are dogs and cats that don't have that connection with their owner, breaks my heart. So if I can make a small but important difference to Battersea and fundraise on their behalf, that far outweighs the long distance I'll be running!

Any donation, no matter the size, will be gratefully accepted, and a huge Thankyou in advance to anyone who has read this and chosen to donate to my charity.

Thank you all, SOOOOOO much
