My Story
The London Marathon has become an annual, inspiring and colourful fixture in the world’s sporting calendar since the inaugural race on 29 March 1981. I am so grateful to be given the opportunity to take part in aid of a truly brilliant cause.
I am running the London Marathon in April 2024 for The Circulation Foundation. The CF has the aims of supporting patients with vascular disease, funding vital research in to vascular disease, and raising awareness.
Although vascular disease is the same process that causes things like heart attacks and some strokes, it doesn’t have the awareness or resources those conditions do.
As well as, most importantly, being so difficult for patients and their families, vascular disease, also costs the NHS hundreds of millions.
I am raising money through running the London Marathon to help The Circulation Foundation fund research in to these conditions and support the patients living with Vascular Disease.
Every little bit of support will really make a difference.
Thank you
