My Story

In little over three weeks’ time, I will be running my first London Marathon to raise funds for our partners, The Institute of Cancer Research.

We’ve all been touched by cancer at some point in our lives, whether personally or through a family or friend. Sadly, half of us will develop cancer in our lifetimes.

That’s why the work of The Institute of Cancer Research is so important. They are world leaders in identifying cancer genes, discovering cancer drugs and developing precision radiotherapy.

Can you help by sponsoring whatever you can? Every little helps!

Socius and our partners Aviva will be developing the world’s leading district for cancer research and treatment at the London Cancer Hub in Sutton.

As Social Impact lead for the project, I will be spearheading fundraising for cancer research. This will begin with the London Marathon on April 21st, followed by Ride London in May and the Great North Run in September. All this is part of the Socius Cancer Challenge, a year’s worth of fundraising activity for vital cancer research.

Together, we will beat cancer!

Your support is greatly appreciated.
