My Story

I'm honoured to be running the London Marathon 2024 for Marie Curie.

I lost my lovely, funny dad Mike to cancer in 2019. Marie Curie nurses provided incredible care that enabled him to die at home with dignity, surrounded by people who loved him. Not only did they look after him, they also provided me and the rest of my family with emotional support through an unbelievably difficult period of time.

I miss my Terry Pratchett loving, guitar playing, punk rocker of a dad every single day and I'm so proud to be able to run London in his memory. Every single person I know has been affected by cancer, and everyone deserves the very best in support and care at the end of life. I know times are hard so anything you can spare to donate will be appreciated so much.
