My Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page

I am running the London Marathon and raising money for The Riding for the Disabled, this charity provides the most vital support for disabled children and adults.

Horses have a certain power that makes the rider feel calm and relaxed. I was lucky as a child as I rode and competed and had the best of times. This is an opportunity for me to raise funds for a charity close to my heart that encompasses both animals and people

The money you donate will provide support and training for the riders care and upkeep for the ponies

When deciding my first fund raising activity I wanted this to be fun, so I am going to go to work dressed as a horse (love to dress up)

Please donate as little or as much as you can this will motivate me on my long lonely runs. I really appreciate everyone’ssupport and hope to see as many of your faces on London Marathon Day look out for the swishing pony tail!!!

The London Marathon has become an annual, inspiring and colourful fixture in the world’s sporting calendar since the inaugural race on 29 March 1981: a celebration of fun, fundraising and fancy dress.

Over the years more than a million people have completed the 26.2-mile course – which runs from Blackheath to The Mall, with a spectacular finish in front of Buckingham Palace, showcasing the very best that the capital city has to offer.

What’s more, these participants have raised over a billion pounds for charity and there have been countless amazing tales of human achievement throughout the event’s history – living up to its aim of helping participants ‘to have fun, and provide some happiness and sense of achievement in a troubled world’.
