My Story

Never in a million years did I ever think I would have the opportunity to run the iconic London Marathon 26.2 miles!!

Why you may ask!
My son has a condition called Nephrotic Syndrome, a rare kidney disease. He has had this since the age of 6. I'm so proud of how he faces every challenge, he amaze me everyday.

There is so much more research that needs to be done for Nephrotic Syndrome therefore I have chosen the Nephrotic Syndrome Trust (NeST) as the charity I will run for.  Please see below a link for more information on nephrotic syndrome.

This year also marks 10 years since I completed active treatment for Breast Cancer and as of 2024 I no longer take preventative treatment - course is complete.

So what way to mark this occasion and to challenge myself, to show my son that it can be done despite all the challenges that life throws at you.  I want to do this for him, to show him that we can do.  It may be hard but it can be done.

Thank you in advance for any donation's
