My Story

In April 2024 I will be running the London Marathon for The Royal Marsden.

Many of those reading this will not know that my mum was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in September 2022.

She has been incredibly courageous and strong, and I couldn't be prouder about how she has handled her treatment.

Through major surgeries, chemotherapy and maintenance therapy - The Royal Marsden is the reason she is still here with us today to be the supportive mum, and 'Nanny G' to our girls.

I owe so much to the Royal Marsden. Please donate if you are able to.

I will also be running the marathon in memory of our beautiful sister Charlotte, who passed away in July 2023 - days before her 30th birthday. The hole left in our lives will never be filled - but If there is anyone that will keep me going it will be you Chazza!!

Whilst Charlottes death was unrelated to the cause, she was training to be a nurse. The kindness she held was of a truly rare nature, and she was perfect for the profession. I know she would have loved people to donate in her memory to a charity that helped people, as that is all she wanted to do.
