My Story

I've gone a bit mad, and I'm running the London Marathon..

But, I'm doing it for a very good cause - raising money for the MS Society. Family and close friends of mine have been affected by MS and it is a disease that is in huge need of further research to improve treatments and support for those experiencing the impacts. Unfortunately research is not well funded compared to many other conditions, and the work of the MS Society to change this is vital.

I did a little running during lockdown (like a lot of people!) but am not one of life's natural runners! I started with Couch to 5k a few months back and have gone from there, going a little further each week, it's been a steep learning curve. I'm not aiming for a time to finish in, just to finish!

I know this is a difficult time for a lot of people and money is tighter than ever before. If you're able to pledge even a little bit it would be hugely appreciated, but obviously please don't worry if not, a message of support the nearer we get to April would be just as welcome :-) I'm hoping to get some matched donations from businesses so every bit pledged will help with that.
