My Story

I'll be running the London Marathon in April 2024 to fundraise for the Tunbridge Wells and District Samaritans Branch. This branch is my hometown's local branch, of which my Dad is in his third year of being a Director. My Dad and step-mum have volunteered for 8 years, investing significant time, energy and resources to help deliver the incredible work that Samaritans provide to help those struggling to cope. They have made myself and my family incredibly proud.

Having been fortunate enough to receive a ballot place, I'm so pleased to have the opportunity to fundraise for a cause so important to me. Not only do I have the family connection to the Samaritans, I also have ongoing struggles with my own mental health and wholly appreciate the need for the listening service that the charity provides to make suicide prevention a priority.

My longest running distance has only ever been a half marathon (of which the most recent was a very humbling experience), so this will be an incredible challenge for me!

Please be generous and donate - any small amount will make a difference.
