My Story
Running with purpose
This Sunday 21st April I am running for 5th time the London Marathon. I am grateful and inspired by the labour of the volunteers at St John Ambulance.
How many times in a public event have you spotted St John’s ambulance volunteers? Have you felt some reassurance that if something happens to you, to your love ones or another person we will be in good hands?
My response is that I feel safe! I feel protected ... I am grateful with the volunteers that give their personal time to be there for some ‘Strangers’ ; their selfless love has inspired me to push myself one year more and run 26.2 miles! this is the least I can do right?
The raise in costs of living has not helped many charities; it is very challenging to raise money as priorities for sponsors have changed… hence me asking your donation for St John Ambulance; your donation will help with some of the following:
· £25 could help a young person save the life of a loved one
· £50 could help to kit out our volunteers
· £100 could help to respond quickly to emergencies
· £250+ will support the future of St John Ambulance’s work
I am grateful for the last 4 years that you have supported me raising money for other charities, believe me, your donation and messages pushed me to the finish line and have changed the world through those charities.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you! and please donate ..
