My Story

As some of you know, I got into the ballot to run the London Marathon in 2019, but I was injured of Plantar Fasciitis for almost 4 years.

So my feet were in rehab and after 2 x each foot of injections, I feel I finally got better and don't feel any pain at the moment.

So April 2023 was supposed to be the last time I could deferred my place.

But I sent them an email and asking if they could let me deffered for another year for the final time in 2024 .

Lucky me ( or unlucky) they let me after I paid the registration fee of course.

So I started my training to get stronger or lose my weight slowly since October and I have lost 5 kg in weight .

I have hired a PT to make sure I am doing the training right.

If you click the link above then you will see all the training that I have done but I think it only showed the walk and run that I have done, don't know why.

As this will be my last London Marathon, I have chosen the

WILTSHIRE AIR AMBULANCE again to raise funds.

These Fact are from their websites.

A total of 292 patients were transferred to local hospitals (up from 263 in 2022), the majority of which to Royal United Hospital, Bath (85), Southmead Hospital, Bristol (69) and Great Western Hospital, Swindon (57).

It costs £4.5 million a year to keep the lifesaving service operational, which equates to more than £12,000 per day. The charity receives no regular direct funding from the Government or National Lottery grants, so relies on the generous donations from the public and local businesses to raise the vital funds needed.

So please can you help me?

Please donate as little or as much as you can afford to this amazing charity, every little helps as they say, they will add up at the end.

I would like to raise a minimum of £1000 but whatever we can give to them will be amazing, better than nothing at all.

Thank you all in advance

Sincerely,

Tess Ryan
