Matt & Amelia are running the London Marathon!

My Story

We are delighted to be running the London Marathon for such a brilliant cause!! We think it is so important that as many people as possible know about the amazing work that momentum do for children and their families in our area. Their work makes unbearable times a little easier and in a world where you can choose to be anything, choose to be kind, which is what momentum do.

Momentum has been part of our lives for a few years now. Matt has volunteered for momentum in the past and Amelia has organised multiple fundraising events for them during our time in sixth form. More recently they have been extremely supportive to our family, after Matt's 14-year-old brother Teddy passed away in November 2022. The bereavement support momentum have given our family has been unbelievable which is why we wanted to take on this challenge and give back by raising as much money as possible so that other families can experience the support we have and continue working hard to help families dealing with terminally ill sons, daughters, brothers and sisters, and bereavement support when the worst happens.
