My Story
I'm in the London Marathon! What a dream! Not only that I have my entry place but that I am fit and well enough to take part.
In 2012 I was diagnosed with stage 3 Breast Cancer at the age of 39. I endured 2 surgeries and chemotherapy plus a 10 year regime of hormone blockers.
At the time I didn't know what the future held for me. I am so very grateful now to be fighting fit and I'm back enjoying life's adventures! I know this is largely down to the research and advancements in breast cancer medicine. Breast Cancer Now not only supported me emotionally during my diagnosis but their research drove my treatment and continues to do so today.
Please help me to raise funds for Breast Cancer Now so they can help all us 'sisters'! Not just those who have been diagnosed but for those who will be diagnosed in the future. Together we can help to improve the screening, the treatments, the support and the outcomes.
It doesn't need to be a big donation just whatever you can afford.
Thank you so much
