My Story

My story - In April 2024 I will be taking part in what will be huge challenge for me by completing the London marathon. Which I have been very lucky to also run along side it with my younger sister Maria .
This is a challenge in which I can prove to myself that with the strongest mind set you can push yourself & your body to go through boundaries it's never faced before . I have found running to be something that I turned to a lot when I found out that my brother in law was poorly . It was something I could do to clear my head of all different kind of thoughts and questions I would go over . Running is a fantastic way of healing the mind and helping you clear yourself of anything that takes over . I believe running was  the tool I used to cope .So I  am using this tool now to  help me give back .

2016 -  my brother law liam ward took poorly with sarcoma & had to have on going treatment for a long time at the Christie in Manchester . Having somewhere like the Christie gave people hope & comfort in what is a very frightening situation to deal with .
The Christie gave Liam a way to face the situation head on with the most amazing support . They gave Liam the best treatment & every open window and door they could give to help him . We couldn't of ask anymore from them .
The Christie is a very special place with very high quality care and outstanding staff .

I always remember them being so caring towards Liam & my sister Kayla when  I was with them . I could go on forever about the Christie, so many positive things to say .

That's why I must give back a token to say thank you from the bottom of my heart . Thank you for everything they did for Liam.

So please help me on this marathon journey to help me raise a target of £2000 in memory of Liam ward .

I know he watches over me training hard & I know he will be truly grateful.

Thank you   for supporting
