My Story

I have taken up running with the ambition to run the London Marathon (sub 4hrs) to raise money for the Charity Childhood First.

Childhood First provide pioneering 24/7 residential care, treatment, and therapeutic education for 5-18 year-old children, all of whom have experienced severe abuse, neglect, and early life trauma.

I am lucky enough to be able to raise my gorgeous 3 year old in a warm and loving home. Whilst on this parenting rollercoaster I have realised how fortunate myself and my daughter's childhoods have been.

Children should be brought up being able to enjoy their childhood, unfortunatly that isn't the case for many. This is why charities like Childhood First are so important to help those who have suffered.
