My Story

Running the London Marathon has always been on my bucket list and I am so grateful to be given this opportunity to live out this dream of mine, while also helping such a good cause which is close to my heart.

I lost both my grandparents to Cancer and I wished that I could have received the support that Mary Ann Hospice provides to families going through the same experience.

I am a fitness enthusiast and have participated in few running events and my goal is to raise a minimum of £2000 for Mary Ann Hospice so that it can continue to provide high-quality support and end of life care such as cancer, heart failure, and motor Neurone disease.

The Mary Ann Evans Hospice is your local community hospice whose aim is to provide specialised care, support, and advice to patients and their families when living with a life limiting illness. We believe everyone in Nuneaton, Bedworth, Atherstone, Coleshill, and the surrounding villages in Northern Warwickshire should be offered the choice of quality end of life care. Our services are delivered free of charge by a team of staff and volunteers who place great emphasis on choice, dignity, respect, compassion, and enablement. All of their services are free as it’s been supported by the local community.
