My Story

I'm running the London Marathon on April 21st for Rett UK and for my amazing sister Nadya who has Rett Syndrome. 

Rett Syndrome is a Rare genetic disability that affects all parts of Nadya's life. Nadya can't talk and has limited mobility but there are many things she can do. 

Nadya is a kind, funny and wise young woman. She has a unique perspective on life, and is totally authentic. She continues to grow and progress, learn new skills and bring joy to all the people around her - her family, friends and carers.

Rett UK is charity providing professional support to people living with Rett syndrome. They believe people with Rett should have every possible opportunity to achieve their individual potential so that they may live their life to the full.

Rett UK help Nadya to live a fulfilling life by supporting our family, providing invaluable educational resources, facilitating Nadya's communication and helping us to navigate the maze of health and legal needs of people with complex disabilites.
