Nat - TCS London Marathon 2024 - SSAFA
Nat Haynes
My Story
Hello! I am taking on the TCS London Marathon in 2024 for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. Please help me reach my target of £2,500 and support our Armed Forces community!
Supporting the Armed Forces community is so important to me, not only as the wife of someone in resettlement from the armed Forces after 22 years' Service, but also as a passionate supporter and deliverer of the Armed Forces Covenant. Choosing my marathon charity was an easy choice for me, and i hope you can support me in this effort.
SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity is a trusted source of practical, emotional, and financial support for serving personnel, veterans and their families in their time of need. In 2021 our trained teams of volunteers and employees helped more than 66,000 people, from Second World War veterans to those who have served in more recent conflicts, or currently serving (both regulars and reserves), and their families.
SSAFA understands that behind every uniform is a person. And we are here for that person and their family, any time they need us and in any way they need us.
update - for those wishing to follow me in the event:
I will be starting in blue wave 17 at approx 11.15, i am race number 65704. You can track my progress via the London marathon app or website.
