My Story

I visited Kasanka National Park in Zambia as part of my studies with the University of Sussex in 2022. Whilst there, I was able to learn about, and witness first hand the Kasanka Trust's approach to wildlife conservation. I have always had a strong passion for the natural world and so it was amazing to see the incredible biodiversity supported by this protected area.

I am fundraising for the Kasanka Trust to support their mission to protect threatened species and biodiversity within the park. Funds will support anti-poaching units by providing vital equipment including GPS devices. Subsequently, this work benefits the surrounding areas, providing ecosystem services to local communities. Aiding and engaging with local communities, through infrastructure development, environmental education and tourism development is also a huge part of the work of the trust. 

Any support would go a long way to help the trust's work to secure this area's amazing and vital biodiversity whilst boosting and sustaining its local economy.
