BEN AND NATHAN'S RUN FOR DUCHENNE FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP!
Ben and Nathan's run for the Duchenne Family support Group!
My Story
Hi all, thank you for taking the time to hit the link and come and check out our fundraising page!
Myself and Nathan have decided to run the London Marthon this year for The Duchenne Family Support Group. The Duchenne Family Support Group does incredible work supporting families that have have recently had a diagnosis within their family, or have a family member affected by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
It's a charity run by families for families, and it holds a special place in my heart as my big brother Stevie has Duchenne himself. The DFSG was a massive help to my family, especially during the early days of my brothers diagnosis.
Myself and Nathan have been freinds for over 20 years, and known each other as early as we can remember. Being one of my closest pals, he has spent lots of time with my family and seen firsthand what life is like for a family living with Duchenne. When we saw the opportunity to raise money for The DFSG by running the London Marathon, we both decided we wanted to be involved.
Me and Nath are training hard, but it's made a little easier knowing the money we raise will go and help a family, like my own, get through what can be a hard time with a little bit more support.
Thank you for taking the time to look at our page, and for all your donations. Please be sure to share our page, tell your freinds and we will you see you all at the finish line on the 21st of April!
