My Story

There are few moments in life that really stick with you; receiving the news that your father has had a heart attack, for me, was one of those. This is just one of the many reasons why I decided to take on this personal challenge and to raise funds for The British Heart Foundation. Seeing the fundamental work they do is humbling and will be life changing to millions of people.

My dad is just one of the 7.6 million people living with heart and circulatory diseases in the UK, something that accouts for about 1/4 of all deaths; and is something that will affect almost all of us in some way, shape or form over our lifetimes. Thanks to the medical research and work of the BHF over the last 60 years, there has been a profound impact on millions of peoples’ lives. I believe this charity’s work is deserving of my support as it has already helped my family. If me running one race (discounting the training) could help save a loved one, then it is worth it…please will you support me in raising funds to continue this essential work? Thank you!
