My Story

Eeeek... hey everyone,

I have taken on a particularly bold challenge to run the 2024 London Marathon for charity. I am excited to share with you the reason behind my journey and invite you to join me in supporting a cause that is close to my heart.

I have decided to dedicate my marathon run to raise funds and awareness for Parents And Children Together (PACT). This incredible charity has been supporting and strengthening families since 1911 through ‘Outstanding’ (Ofsted 2023) adoption and adoption support services and inspirational community projects across London and the South of England. PACT is dedicated to finding secure and loving homes for children who wait the longest to be adopted. The charity offers life-long support to all its adoptive families through specialist therapeutic services and its innovative online adoption support platform, CATCH. PACT also helps vulnerable women to turn their lives around through its Alana House women’s community project and supports families to break the cycle of domestic abuse through its Bounce Back 4 Kids programme.

As a support worker for BB4K this cause is very close to my heart ❤️ as I witness first hand everyday the fantastic impact PACT has on individuals as well as families. 

I am thrilled to be running for such a meaningful cause, and I deeply appreciate your support. Your compassion and generosity will inspire me every step of the way. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a part of this remarkable journey.
