My Story

Welcome.

Thank you for visiting and for your generous donation in getting me closer to raising £2000. If we can raise more, that would be amazing.

I know with everything that is happening all over the world, i am eternally grateful for being able to write this page, feeling safe and not in fear. I try my best to raise awareness and support where i can. Especially when it comes to peoples suffering, their grief and loss. And for this space i want to draw your attention to saint francis hospice.

I work at Saint Francis Hospice, supporting patients and their loved ones. I see first hand the support that is needed as soon as someone receives their diagnosis and sadly after their death.

Sadly i am supporting people who are younger than me, in their 30s and facing the hardest challenge of their life. Im in my 40s and i can breathe, walk, drive, swallow, watch my children grow.  without a thought. I cannot image how I would be if my choice for these basic needs were taken.

Yet, these are the challenges my clients face, and the immense admiration from me. With how they cope or dont cope. Their honesty when its too much, to their resilience and gratitude for the life they have lived is a privilege to be there to witness. Sadly, for most their time ends in this world and yet they leave wonderful memories for their loved ones.

We are living in times of financial difficulties and for the hospice to keep its doors open, its servcies running, we need to raise money and the fundraising team work tirelessly to achieve this.

I want to run for those who cannot and with your help and generosity we can keep the hospice going.

Please do donate what youre able to, i am very appreciative given the challenges we are all facing.

Please share my page to any friends and family that would be able to support the hospice.
