My Story
Hi there everyone 👋,
This year , April 21st, I will be running the London Marathon, whilst fundraising for the wonderful and worthy Farleigh Hospice, a charity that has been there and helped many of my friend and their families, with their fantastic care services.
Farleigh Hospice is a charity providing award-winning care, free of charge, to people affected by life-limiting illnesses and bereavement across mid Essex, and a charity that I hold close to my heart.
Patients and their families can access the wide range of care services and support at the hospice building in Broomfield, Chelmsford and out in the community or within their own homes.
A specialist inpatient unit provides care and support to those with complex care needs. This includes symptom control, psychological support, physiotherapy, respite care and more intensive support at the end of life.
Now this where we need your help, it costs Farleigh Hospice around £21,271 every day to provide this care and as a charity it relies on the goodwill of its supporters to ensure it can continue to deliver this much-needed care completely free of charge to those who need it.
So I am asking my family and friends, if you can help, by donating a little, and cheering me on alot, for 26.2 miles.
Thank you ever so much!
