My Story
Hi friends and supporters!
My name is Steffi, I'm 27 years old and from a small town in Germany.
I am excited to share my journey with you as I prepare to take on the incredible challenge of running the London Marathon. This marathon is about raising crucial funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Berkshire Therapy Center. If you'd like to get a glimpse of my training, make sure to check out my new instagram account: steffi.runs.london
My Personal Story with MS
Growing up, I witnessed the struggles my dad faced as he battled Multiple Sclerosis. MS is a challenging and unpredictable disease that affects the central nervous system, often causing symptoms such as fatigue, muscle weakness, and difficulty with coordination. While there is no cure for MS yet, I could always see the positive benefits treatments like physical therapy would have . Despite the hurdles he faced, my dad remained an inspiration, displaying immense strength, courage, and resilience.
Seeing my dad's unwavering determination, I was inspired to make a difference. I decided to channel my passion for running into a meaningful cause.
