My Story
Hi Everyone,
I will be running in the London Marathon in April in support of The Children’s Trust. The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with Brain Injury. They deliver specialist rehabilitation, education and community services to children and their families.
Growing up nearby to The Children’s Trust, going to school nearby and going to many events growing up, meant that I have always had an affiliation with the Charity. My mum has been part of the supporter’s group for over 20 years and my uncle has run the marathon in support for the trust. I’m keen to follow in their footsteps by running the 26.2 miles in support of the cause.
Every year 40,000 children in the UK are left with a brain injury as a result of accident or illness. Your donations will help support the life changing services they deliver. Donations can pay for occupational therapy equipment and multi sensory toys, which can be used to help children restore lost skills and develop new ways of doing things.
Thanks all for your support and helping The Children’s Trust reach more children with brain injury and neurodisability.
