My Story
I've been running all my life (yes, that is really is me, aged 9, discovering that running was my thing) and finally, at the tender age of 55, I get to run the London Marathon 2024.
Why would I do such a thing at this stage in my life you might well ask?
Well, it's almost 10 years since Gaynor, my wife, died and to mark that event and remember her I am determined to raise as much money as I can for those who helped her.
Gaynor battled cancer for 10 years, and at the end, Sue Ryder provided her with the most amazing care, something I will never forget.
Hospice care was so important to Gaynor, and it is so important also to my patients who are approaching the end of their lives; and it is all done without proper government funding.
Please give as generously as you can to help fund the incredible work they do.
