My Story
Hello,
Get ready for some sweat, cheers, and a whole lot of heart! I'm thrilled to announce I'll be taking on the iconic TCS London Marathon this year, and even more excited to be doing it all in support of a cause close to my heart: the YMCA. A side challenge is to beat my business rival Tom Howley who ran the marathon in 2021. He did it in 5:19:13 which is my target time to beat!

Why the YMCA?
YMCA believes in fairness and opportunity. There are essential building blocks for a full and rewarding life: a safe home; acceptance; guidance; friendship; physical and mental health; academic support; employment skills; and access to real opportunities. Many young people have never known these things; other people have lost one or more as they grew up, but we all need them. All of us. At YMCA, they provide these critical
foundations for a fresh, strong start for young people and a better quality of life in the community.
The Challenge & the Goal
26.2 miles is no easy feat! But with your support, I know I can cross that finish line and make a real difference for the YMCA. My fundraising goal is £1,500, which will directly contribute to help provide safe accommodation for homeless young people, support for those with mental health problems and practical help with accessing education and training — everything young people need to really turn their lives around.
Every stride, every donation, counts!
No matter the amount, your contribution will fuel my motivation and make a tangible impact on the lives the YMCA touches.
Here are some ways you can help:
- Donate: Any amount, big or small, is deeply appreciated.
- Share my page: Spread the word by sharing this page with your friends, family, and network.
- Leave a message: Send me some words of encouragement to keep me going!
Together, we can make a difference! Let's lace up, embrace the challenge, and support the incredible work of the YMCA.
Thank you for your support!
