My Story

I will be running the London Marathon for Children with Cancer UK in April 2024.

Too many people in the UK have a connection to cancer. Growing up, my older brother Freddie was diagnosed with T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia at the age of 5. After three years battling the disease, Freddie recovered and recieved the all clear five years later.

During Freddie's battle, Children with Leukemia and Clic Sargent both provided invaluable help to both Freddie and my family. As well as funding research, these charities provide support for children and families to allow them to focus on recovery.

My Dad, Andy, ran the London Marathon for Children with Leukemia in 2002 whilst Freddie was ill. I have always wanted to do the same and I am very grateful to be able to run in support of the charity in 2024.

I am so proud of Freddie for how strong he was as a child, and I am still proud today. I am proud of the strong, intelligent man he has grown up to be and I will be forever grateful for the recovery he made from cancer.

It would mean the world to me to be able to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity. To support other children and families going through the same thing, giving them every opportunity and helping to fight childhood cancer.
