My Story

I am running to raise vital funds for the National Autistic Society because, the information and support they provide is truly vital and much needed.

This isn't just about running to raise money, this is just as much about raising awareness!

I am running this for the new born me, to the 36 year of masking in society!!! I'm running for the 36 years of life that I've lived with the struggle of not feeling a sense of belonging in society, the 36 years of sensory overload and meltdowns! The 36 years of going through life with-out realising the true impact of surviving in society, going un-diagnosed, being truly un-aware of what was happening in my brain and with-in my thought process! For the 36 years of ignorance society has had towards Autism Spectrum Disorder!

Autism is all around us, but largely goes unseen, with huge struggles for those living in society with ASD are very real, and with the help of The National Autism Society, we can all work together in raising awareness, and help provide better help for all Neurodiverse people.
