My Story

Hello friends, colleagues and podcast listeners!

Welcome to my fundraising page for the London Marathon 2024. You may be wondering why am I raising money for St John Ambulance?

During my eight years as a volunteer with the organisation, I saw firsthand how their tireless efforts can transform lives. The sense of purpose, responsibility, and leadership they instilled in me were invaluable, and the skills I learned have had a profound impact on my life. It's at a time like this, when I recall a particular moment back in 2011 during the London Marathon, where a grateful cancer survivor taught me the true meaning of our voluntary work. She was one of the many people we were able to assist, and her words continue to inspire me to this day.

Today, I am lacing up my running shoes to give back to this amazing organization, participating in the London Marathon with a goal of raising £2000. Running this marathon is more than a personal challenge; it's a tribute to St John Ambulance and an opportunity to support the incredible work they do in our communities.

Your contribution will help St John Ambulance continue their mission of saving lives and serving the community. Join me in making a difference - every donation, no matter how small, will take us a step closer to the finish line.

Thank you for your support!
