My Story

After completing the Moonwalk 2023, I have set myself the challenge of running the TCS London Marathon 2024, raising funds for an incredibly important cause. East Anglia's Children's Hospice is an incredible charity that supports families and cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and my home county Suffolk.

EACH offers flexible care at home, in hospital or in one of their three amazing hospices at Milton, The Nook and The Treehouse. This care is provided by qualified nurses, specialists, counsellors or therapists to make sure that each family feels supported in their time of need.

EACH supports families in the background by providing symptom management, physio and occupational therapy and help at home. Your donations, no matter how big or small will make a huge difference! £23 could pay for an hour of care by a clinical nurse specialist, £46 could pay for a music therapist for 2 hours and £114 could pay for six hours of counselling for a family member during a difficult time.

After reading the touching testimonies from families that have required the services of EACH, I want to raise funds and awareness for the incredible work that is carried out by the organisation. Their work is truly life saving, not only to the children but also their families in their greatest time of need.
