My Story
April 2024, I'll be running the London Marathon for Henshaws, a northern charity supporting people living with sight loss and a range of other disabilities to go beyond expectations.
A decade ago, my Dad proudly ran for them, and still remains one of his proudest achievements. 10 years on I am taking the baton to raise even more money for Henshaws... and beat his time in the process!
Henshaws supports people with disabilities, including sight loss, to lead fulfilling lives. Your support can make a real difference:
- £25 helps a newly diagnosed individual with sight loss.
- £50 provides sensory equipment for students at Henshaws College.
- £100 supports creative workshops at Henshaws Arts & Crafts Centre.
- £500 enables a visually impaired child to attend the "I Can Do It" course.
